Reporting Absence

On the first day of absence parents should report their child’s absence in the following ways

Via Reach More Parents (formerly known as WeDuc)    Weduc 

If a parent is not able to do this then they should either call the school office or send an email to office@cranmer.merton.sch.uk

By telephoning the school office on 020 8648 2621

Parents are expected to inform the school of the reason for their child’s absence giving a specific reason, and how long they are expected to be absent. 

 

Requesting Permission for Absence

It is not advisable to take your child(ren) on leave of absence during term time as this causes disruption to their education.  Schools must follow the law in this regard and may only grant leave in exceptional circumstances if certain criteria are fulfilled.
